The tour will visit GM wheat trials for improving drought tolerance and commercial GM canola operations in western Victoria. This day trip will travel through the historic gold mining town of Ballarat home of the Eureka Stockade and the world famous Sovereign Hill Tourist Precinct with a light lunch taken at either the Grampians mountain range or Mt Arapiles where the group will see the stark contrast between these mountains and the rolling agricultural plains of western Victoria.
The following tour is not included in the registration fee for delegates. Reservations should be made on the Conference Registration Form.
OPTIONAL TOUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Tour has been designed by the GMCC-09 Committee and Conference Organisers, for participating delegates and accompanying persons attending the 4th International Conference on Coexistence between Genetically Modified (GM) and non (GM) based Agricultural Supply Chains.
The Tour is based on minimum numbers of participants. If minimum numbers are not reached, alternative arrangements or a complete refund will be made. Places on the tour are limited and Full Registered delegates will have first preference. Where participants cancel their tour booking prior to 9 October 2009, payment will be refunded in full. Thereafter, no refund will be made.
